Wigan-born and internationally experienced, Lauren Waterworth is a vocalist, recording artist and performer whose journey began early. She first took to the stage aged eight and was on national television by nine. Before she turned eleven she had completed three successful summer seasons in Blackpool, performing weekly theatre shows at both the North and South Pier.
Her early career carried her through prestigious charity events and high-profile functions. She shared the stage with Danny Jones of McFly and Heidi Range of the Sugababes, and performed for Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United players and celebrity guests — including at Old Trafford and celebrity weddings.
A place on Star for a Night — announced personally by Jane McDonald — led to an exclusive recording contract with Pete Waterman's PWL, and later a five-album deal with Sony/BMG. Her debut single reached #22 in the UK charts and her debut album reached #12 in the Classical Charts. Recent releases continue to gain momentum, with her music streamed globally and more than 2.6 million views across social platforms.
Lauren has featured across UK and Irish television — This Morning, Richard and Judy, Blue Peter, GMTV, Songs of Praise, ITV, Channel 4, Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, E4 and Fox Kids — as well as BBC Radio Merseyside and BBC GMR. She has shared stages with Sir Cliff Richard, Ronan Keating, Lulu, Peter Kay, Blue, Steps, Spandau Ballet and Atomic Kitten, and supported Westlife on their UK and Ireland tour.
