“Lauren has a beautiful voice and is such a lovely person too. We've asked her to play at numerous corporate and private functions and everybody has said what a talented entertainer she is. I would absolutely recommend her for any occasion.”Patsy Davis Jackson
A polished voice for the night that matters.
Live corporate vocalist for gala dinners, awards nights, conferences, product launches and Christmas parties across the UK. Polished, professional, on-brief. Solo, acoustic, or with a full band.
Music for every part of the evening.
Arrivals & drinks reception
As guests arrive, network, and find their tables. Polished background music that sets the tone for the evening without competing with conversation. The room hears the singer, but the talking continues.
Best with: Acoustic with guitar or Solo with backing tracksDinner service
Featured songs between courses, or continuous background through the meal. Refined and considered — the soundtrack to the evening, not the centre of it. Most agencies opt for solo with tracks at this point.
Best with: Solo with backing tracksThe featured performance
The centrepiece moment after speeches or awards. A featured set — soul, jazz, contemporary covers, or a brand-led tribute. This is the photo-worthy moment, the one guests talk about on Monday morning.
Best with: Solo with backing tracks or AcousticThe evening dance floor
When the formal portion ends and the floor opens. Full band brings the energy for larger corporate parties; solo with tracks works for tighter venues, smaller budgets, or events where you want continuous music without a band changeover.
Best with: Full band or Solo with backing tracksThree ways to bring me to your event.
Solo with backing tracks
Polished, professional, contained. Studio-quality production behind a single live voice — sounds like a complete band, fits in any room from intimate dining to large ballroom. The most flexible option for full-evening corporate bookings.
Acoustic with guitar
Stripped back. Voice and a guitarist — warmer, more intimate. Ideal for arrivals, drinks receptions, and the dinner portion of an event where you want presence without volume.
Full band
The proper live band for the after-speeches portion. Vocals, drums, bass, guitars, keys — builds the energy and keeps the dance floor full from the moment it opens through to the end of the night.

The unwritten part of the job. Knowing when the dinner wants a low-key vibe versus when the post-speeches moment needs the lift. That comes from years of corporate events with tight briefs.

Before you book me.
The questions I get asked most about corporate bookings — answered up front. Anything missing? Drop it in the enquiry message.
How much does a corporate event singer cost?
Depends on the date, the brief, distance, and the setup. Solo with backing tracks starts at £550. Acoustic with guitar from £750. Full band from £1,500. Bespoke arrangements or extended rehearsals for branded content get quoted on top. Send the brief and you'll have a real quote within 24 hours.
Do you do gala dinners, awards nights, and Christmas parties?
Yes — all of these, plus product launches, conferences, summer balls, anniversary celebrations, and brand activations. The format changes (dinner background vs. headline set vs. dance floor) but the principles are the same: arrive well in advance, deliver on-brief, leave the room better than I found it.
Can you learn specific songs for our brand or theme?
Yes — branded songs, theme tributes, agency-led set lists, custom lyric arrangements for milestone events. I learn them properly and send a rehearsal clip for client sign-off before the event. If you've got a creative brief for the night, I'll work to it.
Do you have public liability insurance and PAT-tested equipment?
Yes — both. Public liability up to £5m. PAT-tested PA, mics, leads. Both certificates available on request for your venue's contractor paperwork. Worth flagging at enquiry stage so I can attach them alongside the quote.
What about invoicing and payment terms?
I invoice for all corporate bookings — standard terms are 25% deposit on booking, balance 14 days before the event. Bespoke payment terms can usually be agreed with finance teams (PO numbers, split payments, end-of-month schedules). Just mention what your team needs in the enquiry.
Can you perform in our corporate venue or function room?
Yes — hotel ballrooms, conference centres, gallery spaces, warehouse venues. I bring full PA and adapt to the room. If there's an in-house AV team or external contractor involved, I can liaise with them directly on the technical side ahead of the event.
How long do you perform for? Can we split sets across the evening?
Standard sets are 2 × 45 minutes or 3 × 30 minutes. For corporate events that often gets split — background during arrivals, a featured set after speeches, music between courses. Extended sets and continuous background can be arranged at additional cost. Tell me the run sheet and I'll suggest how to slot in.
What if we need to cancel or postpone?
Postponements are handled case-by-case — if we can find a new mutually-suitable date, the deposit transfers across with no penalty. Cancellations follow the contract's cancellation clauses (which step down based on notice). All written into the contract before any money.
How far in advance should we book?
Most corporate events book 3–9 months out. Christmas party season (November–December) starts booking from June onwards — for peak weeks, that's when most of the diary fills. For one-off events with shorter lead time, just ask — if the date's free, the booking is straightforward.
