“Lauren has a beautiful voice and is such a lovely person too. We've asked her to play at numerous corporate and private functions and everybody has said what a talented entertainer she is. I would absolutely recommend her for any occasion.”Patsy Davis Jackson
The voice for the day you've imagined.
Live wedding singer based in Wigan, performing across the North West and beyond. Ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, evening party — solo, acoustic with guitar, or full band. Real quote within 24 hours.
Music for every part of the day.
The Ceremony
Live vocals as your guests arrive, music for the walk down the aisle, a sung exit. Civil ceremonies, churches, registered venues — anywhere that allows live music. Refined and considered, never overpowering the moment.
Best with: Solo with backing tracksThe Drinks Reception
Music while guests mingle, photos happen, and you catch your breath. Conversation-friendly volume, warm and inviting — sets the tone for the rest of the day. Background to the room, not the centre of it.
Best with: Acoustic with guitarThe Wedding Breakfast
Background music during the meal, or a featured song between courses. Some couples want a curated playlist instead — others want live every moment. Either way, it should feel like a soundtrack, not a performance.
Best with: Solo or AcousticThe Evening Party
The dance floor. Your first dance learned and performed live, then the set that gets everyone up. From soul classics to current chart hits — read the room, build the energy, leave it on a high.
Best with: Full band or Solo with tracksThree ways to bring me to your wedding.
Solo with backing tracks
Polished, professional, contained. Studio-quality production behind a single live voice — sounds like a full band, fits in any room. The most flexible and budget-friendly option that still delivers a complete sound.
Acoustic with guitar
Stripped back — voice and a guitarist. Warmer and more intimate than solo. Ideal for garden weddings, marquee receptions, and the parts of the day you want feeling more like a song than a show.
Full band
The dance-floor option. Vocals, drums, bass, guitars, keys — a proper live band for the evening party. Builds the energy and keeps the floor full from first dance to last orders.

Reading the room
The unwritten part of the job. Knowing when the floor wants something familiar, when the dinner wants something soft, when grandma needs Sinatra and when the cousins need the Killers. That's what years of weddings teaches you.
Wedding venues I've sung at.
A mix of the named venues I've performed at and the kinds of weddings I most often play. If yours isn't here, it almost certainly fits one of the patterns — get in touch and we'll work out the right setup.

Before you book me.
The questions I get asked most about wedding bookings — answered up front. Anything missing? Drop it in the enquiry message.
How much does a wedding singer cost?
Fees depend on date, setup choice, travel distance, and how long you'd like me there. Solo with backing tracks starts at £550. Acoustic with guitar from £750. Full band from £1,500. Send the details and you'll get a real quote within 24 hours — never a vague 'from £X' placeholder.
Do you sing the ceremony, drinks reception AND evening party?
Yes — many couples book me for the full day. You can mix setups too: solo with tracks for the ceremony and dinner, then a full band for the evening, for example. Or just one slot if that's what suits the budget. I'll suggest what works for your day when I quote.
Can you learn our first dance song?
Yes — first dance, ceremony song, parents' dance, your nan's favourite. I learn it properly (not just last week) and send you a rehearsal clip about a week before the wedding so you can hear how it'll sound on the actual setup. If there's a key change to make it more singable for the room, we'll discuss it.
Do you provide all the PA and sound equipment?
Yes — full kit. Speakers, mics, mixer, monitor, leads. You don't need to organise anything technical or rent a PA from the venue. I arrive 60–90 minutes before performance time to set up properly, sound-check, and quietly disappear until I'm needed.
How many sets do you perform during the evening?
Standard evening package is 2 × 45 minutes or 3 × 30 minutes, with background music or a curated playlist during the breaks. Extended sets can be arranged at additional cost — some weddings want continuous music from first dance through to chucking-out time, and that's doable.
Do you take a deposit? How does the booking work?
25% deposit secures your date. I send a written contract before any money changes hands — it covers everything (the setup, the hours, the cover arrangement, cancellation terms). Balance due 14 days before the wedding. No hidden costs, no surprise add-ons.
What about travel costs for weddings outside the North West?
Travel within Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire is included in the fee. Further afield gets a reasonable mileage quote up front (not a vague 'plus travel' line). For late finishes or long-distance weddings, hotel costs are quoted alongside the booking — never added after the fact.
What if you can't make it on the day?
I work with a small network of trusted singers and bands across the UK. In the unlikely event of illness or genuine emergency, I'll arrange a high-quality replacement at no extra cost to you. This is written into the contract.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book 8–18 months out. Saturdays between May and September go first — if your date is in peak season, get in touch as early as you can. That said, last-minute bookings are sometimes possible if a slot's open. Worth asking either way.
