The lounge soundtrack — played live.
Live vocal residencies and one-off bookings for hotels, bars, restaurants and lounges across the UK. Jazz standards, soul classics, contemporary covers — the playlist your hospitality team would build, but performed live. Multi-night residency discounts available.
Music for the rooms that need it.
Hotel lobby & lounge
Ambient live music for guests as they arrive, mingle, relax over a coffee or a glass of wine. Conversation-friendly volume, jazz and lounge repertoire. Sits in the background, lifts the room without taking over.
Best with: Acoustic with guitar or SoloBar & restaurant jazz nights
Turn a regular Thursday into "jazz night." Featured weekly slots for bars and restaurants running live music programmes. Jazz standards, soul classics, easy-listening covers — the playlist your guests stay an extra drink for.
Best with: Acoustic with guitarRestaurant background music
Live music during dinner service — refined, low-key, never competing with the food or conversation. The kind of subtle live element that elevates a restaurant without changing what it is.
Best with: Solo with backing tracks or AcousticMulti-night residencies
Built-in live music as part of your hotel's offer. Weekend packages, festive month-long programmes, summer programmes. Residency-friendly pricing for 3+ nights — flag the run length when you enquire.
Best with: Solo with backing tracks or AcousticThree ways to bring me into the venue.
Solo with backing tracks
Polished, contained, residency-friendly. Studio-quality production behind a single live voice — sounds like a full band when you want it, sits quietly under conversation when you don't. Easy to set up and pack away each night, which matters for multi-night runs.
Acoustic with guitar
Voice and guitar — warmer, jazzier, more lounge. The most-booked setup for hotel and bar work. Suits the jazz-standards repertoire perfectly and fits in any room from a small wine bar to a hotel lobby.
Full band
For the function-room nights — when the hotel is selling a band package as part of a wedding, gala, or party booking. Vocals, drums, bass, guitars, keys. Larger setup, larger sound.
What's included.
The practical hospitality essentials — PA flexibility, events team liaison, repertoire suited to the room, hospitality-friendly contracts. Residency discounts written into the quote.
- 01
Full PA (or use yours)
I bring full PA for venues that don't have their own. For hotels and bars with in-house systems, I can plug directly into the venue PA — just flag this when you book so I bring the right cables and DI boxes.
- 02
Liaising with events teams
For function-room bookings, I work directly with your in-house events team or external AV contractor — sound check times, set lengths, run sheets. Saves the events manager being the middleman on technical detail.
- 03
Repertoire suited to the room
Jazz standards (Ella, Sinatra, Norah Jones), soul classics (Aretha, Stevie, Adele), easy-listening covers, contemporary low-tempo hits. Repertoire skewed toward the room — more jazz for lobby, more pop for late-evening bar.
- 04
Multi-night residency rates
Per-night fee comes down for residencies of 3+ nights. Significant discount on monthly residencies. The longer the booking, the lower the per-night cost. Quoted up front, not "negotiated" — fair from the outset.
- 05
Hospitality-friendly contracts
Invoiced for hotel bookings — standard 30-day terms or to match your finance team's schedule. PO numbers accepted. PLI & PAT certs available on request. Written contract before the first night.
The kinds of venues I sing in.
From boutique hotel lobbies to gastro pub jazz nights, country house lounges to cocktail bars. The fit depends on the room, the time of day, and what your guests come to your venue for in the first place.

Before you book me.
The questions hotel and bar managers ask most — residency discounts, PA flexibility, repertoire, lead times. Anything missing? Drop it in the enquiry.
How much does a hotel or bar singer cost?
Single-night bookings start at £550 for solo with backing tracks, £750 for acoustic with guitar. Multi-night residencies get a discount — the per-night rate steps down for 3+ nights, with bigger discounts for monthly or weekly recurring slots. Send the brief (how many nights, what venue, what kind of music) and you'll have a real quote within 24 hours.
Do you do weekly or monthly residencies?
Yes — regular slots are great for both sides. Weekly jazz nights, monthly featured evenings, or daily lobby music for festive months all work. Flag what kind of pattern you're picturing and I'll quote accordingly. The longer the commitment, the lower the per-night fee.
What discount applies to multi-night bookings?
Genuine residency discount — typically 10–25% off the single-night fee for 3+ nights, increasing with run length. Monthly programmes and long-term weekly slots get bigger discounts. I'll put the rate in writing at quote stage so there's no fuzziness about what each night costs.
Do you bring PA, or can I use the venue's system?
Either works. I bring full PA as standard. If your hotel or bar has a decent in-house system, I can plug directly into it — saves space, looks tidier, and a few hotels prefer this for keeping the lobby visually clean. Just tell me what's available when you book.
What does your repertoire actually cover?
Jazz standards (Ella Fitzgerald, Norah Jones, Frank Sinatra), soul classics (Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Adele), easy-listening pop (Carole King, James Taylor, contemporary acoustic covers). For late-evening bar slots I can lean more current; for daytime lobbies, more classic. The mix gets agreed before the first booking.
How long are the sets?
Standard pattern is 3 × 45 minutes with breaks, totalling around 2.5 hours of live music across a 4-hour booking. For lobby/restaurant background music, longer continuous low-key sets can be arranged. For jazz nights and featured slots, the 3 × 45 pattern usually works best.
Can you adapt to different rooms — lobby vs bar vs restaurant?
Yes — that's part of the job. Lobby and lounge need conversation-friendly volume and sophisticated repertoire. Late-evening bars can lift the energy with more upbeat material. Restaurant background needs to sit underneath dinner service. I read the room and adapt set by set.
What's the lead time for booking?
Single-night bookings: 4–6 weeks is comfortable, last-minute (under 2 weeks) sometimes possible. Weekly residencies and monthly programmes: 2–3 months out is ideal so we can lock in the diary. Festive residencies (November–December lounges): book from June onwards — those run out first.
Do you work with hotel events teams for function bookings?
Yes — for weddings, corporate events, and parties held in your function rooms. I liaise directly with the events team on run sheets, technical setup, and timing. If the booking comes via a couple or corporate client and the hotel is the venue, I'll loop the events team in early to avoid surprises.
