Let's get you singing like you always wanted to.
I'm Lauren — a working singer and singing coach in Wigan. I teach total beginners, hobbyists and gigging vocalists. I also sing at weddings, events & venues across the UK. Lessons in-person or on Zoom.

A working singer who actually teaches.
I've been performing since my teens and teaching since my early twenties — pubs, clubs, weddings, festivals, theatres. I still gig most weekends, which means everything I teach is stuff I'm using on stage myself.
My lessons are warm, practical and a little bit nosy. I want to know what you actually want to sing — and then I'll help you sing it well.
- Trained classically (BMus, Royal Northern) — teach every style

From singers & couples
Lauren has a rare gift — she meets you exactly where you are and makes you sound like the singer you always hoped you might be. I went from terrified to singing at my own wedding.
We booked Lauren for our wedding and she was faultless — every song, every moment. Guests are still messaging us about it three months later.
I'd been "wanting to sing" for fifteen years and never done anything about it. Six months with Lauren and I'm singing at open mics. Best decision I've made.
The questions before booking
If yours isn't here, just message me — I reply to everything within 24 hours, usually quicker.
Message Lauren →I've never sung before. Is that a problem?
Not even slightly. Beginners are some of my favourite students — nothing to undo, lovely fresh ground to build from. The first lesson is gentle and pressure-free.
How much do lessons cost?
30-min discovery lesson is £25. Hour-long weekly lessons are £40. Block bookings of 6 or 10 lessons are available at a discount. Performance prep is priced based on what you need.
Do you teach online?
Yes — about half my students are online via Zoom and it works brilliantly. I'll send a tech checklist before your first session so the audio's as good as it can be.
Can you sing at my wedding?
Almost certainly — message me with the date, venue and the vibe. I do ceremonies, drinks receptions, first dances and full evening sets, solo or with a band.
What ages do you teach?
From 12 upwards, all abilities. I'm DBS checked and parents are very welcome to sit in on early lessons with younger students.
Right then — shall we sing?
A 30-minute discovery lesson is the easiest way to find out if we're a good fit. No pressure, no hard sell, just a chance to sing and have a chat.
